Main characteristic of Sonny Touch’s sound, is that he merges motley music elements. "Leave Space For The Little Animals" is a mixture of rock, blues, New Orleans, Hawaiian tunes and African percussions, all beautifully combined in a playful and surreal mood. When asked to design the LP cover for “Leave space for the little animals” we came up with the idea of creating a synthesis made out of paper cut outs. The concept behind this, was to use handmade illustrations of different elements that depict Sonny’s music. We invented a child-like, quirky, and edgy combination, and by adding screen-printed textures, we pursued to encompass more depth and an adventurous feel. In order to balance out the playfulness of the front cover, we chose to use clean typography at the back cover.
